Heard interview. Asked a few times if he was happy in the Peg. Would only say "I'm a Jet right now, gonna train hard this summer"

I'd take a chance on him in Montreal. I feel like the staff in place right now could get his attitude problems in check (which I don't think are that bad to begin with).

I'd be ok with Pleks, Beaulieu and a 2nd or something along those lines. Kind of a shot in the dark on Eller if you move Pleks, but hey.... sometimes you need to gamble.

Burrows has 4.5 a year on the books for another 3 years. He is 33 and had a .3 ppg last year, He is not the player he once was. There's no way Burrows is going to winnipeg. Shinnkaruk and a 1st is a starting point as I expect if its a 2015 draft pick you're referring to that it will be a top 5 pick.
And for what its worth, do you really want Kane on your team? I don't think he will be happy unless he is in LA, NYC or Chicago. He likes the razzle dazzle. I won't be sad to see him go.

I don't think that Chevy is concerned about trading him since he has 4 more years of contract at a reasonable hit. I couldn't care less if he is moved for some assets, I think they'd rather see him have a banner year and make him the big ticket player that 20 teams are all willing to give away a big return for. Right now, I don't see him being able to fetch a return that winnipeg would be able to build around.

Of course Burrows isn't the player he once was...but you know you're gonna have to take some salary back...probably in the form of a stinky contract. The rest of that offer is excellent. Likely more than you end up with on it's own.

Ya a guy who scored 5 goals along with 10 assists last season is going to help you bring in a star scorer. Probably have to be more like a 2015 1st rounder, Shinkaruk and Tanev. If not Tanev then 1st rounder, Horvat and Subban or Liberati would get it done.
